Dog waste bins: Situated in Wilby Road (opposite the Griffin Pub) and North Street (opposite the School) and soon there will be one at the bottom of Highfield Road.

Newspaper Delivery - Order from the Post Office Stores in Overstone and then depending on where you live different people deliver them

"The Help Scheme" - 01604 812526 The scheme can be used to take anybody in Earls Barton, Mears Ashby and the surrounding district to Doctors’ surgeries, Dentists, Medical centres, Hospitals; locally or even as far as Oxford. There is a fixed rate of charges depending on where you live and where you want to go and each driver will have a list. The charge can be paid in cash. To book a journey you should ring the above number, you will normally get an answerphone and you should leave a message giving your name and address, where you want to go, the date and time of your appointment, your telephone number and any particular requirements, eg. If you are in a wheel chair etc. A driver will arrive on the due date early enough to get you to your appointment on time. You will NOT be rung back unless there is a problem with your journey.
