FREE Dance Workshops: Express Yourself, Bollywood Style Celebrate the uplifting music and dance of Bollywood, the popular term for India's film industry. Students will learn about exciting Bollywood dance which fuses Indian and Western dance form.
The City of Mississauga’s Culture Division is offering this opportunity in partnership with the Living Arts Centre (LAC) to schools across the city. Each workshop is one hour and has a maximum of 60 participants.

FREE Bollywood Workout Classes Before dancing the night away during Mississauga IIFA Buzz Weekend June 24 – 26, you first have to learn the moves! Learn how to groove, Bollywood Style at your local community centre. Be sure to have your Try-it Booking Code ready and sign-up online using www.connect2rec.ca or in person at your community centre. FREE CIBC presents Bollywood Under the Stars Movie Night Sunday, June 19 Time Venue Event 5:00 – Mississauga CIBC presents “Bollywood Under the Stars Movie Night” 9:00 p.m. Celebration Enjoy a free outdoor screening of Rajneeti, an IIFA- Square nominated film on our new, state-of-the-art media screens and you could win 2 tickets* to the IIFAs!
No Purchase Necessary: Random draw contest takes place during each participating event. Correct answer to math skill testing question required to win. Enter by filling out a ballot at a CIBC tent. One (1) pair of IIFA tickets (ARV $125) to the Awards Show on June 25th available to be won at each participating CIBC Bollywood Under the Stars Movie night event listed above. Square Bollywood Monster Mash-Up is an original production created especially for the night featuring Bollywood singer Monali Thakur, jsin, The Alphabet Backwards, Divine Heritage Artistry dance troupe and more.
Come out and to hear popular songs spanning the black & white era of Indian Cinema to the modern hits of Bollywood in ways you've never heard them before. From electronic remixes and rock remakes to symphonic renditions, this is a show that is sure to get you up and dancing. Dhamaka!
Saturday, June 25 Time Venue Event 2 – 11 Mississauga Activities throughout the Square will create amazing p.m. Celebration Bollywood memories for all members of the family as Square everything comes alive in the North Square.
