Youngsters usually associate heroism with superhuman traits such as the ability to fly through the air, become invisible, or lift extremely heavy objects. But what does it really mean to be a hero? The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything – A VeggieTales Movie from Big Idea and , scheduled for release in theaters on January 11, 2008, tells a wonderfully entertaining story that helps children learn that anyone can be a hero if they put their trust in God and do what’s right—even when it’s not easy. Popular VeggieTales characters Larry the Cucumber, Mr. Lunt, and Pa Grape star in the movie as The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything, three wannabe heroes held back by their doubts and fears. The three pals reluctantly set sail for adventure and discover what it really means to be a hero.
