The Plainville Police Association have been awarding this scholarship to P.H.S. students in honor of Officer Robert Holcomb, who was killed while on duty November 21st, 1977 for over 35 years. The Association sponsors a Fund Raiser “Wing-Ding”for the Scholarships each year at the V.F.W. on Northwest Drive.
