This newly established fund will contribute to projects, equipment, and capital improvements to reduce the carbon footprint and emissions across the park. Installing solar panels on park buildings and electric vehicle charging stations at strategic locations and replacing vehicles and equipment with electric or more fuel-efficient options will allow for Acadia to operate sustainability over time – both environmentally and financially.
