Friday 1st KEYWORTH AND DISTRICT LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY (K&DLHS) - 7.30pm Centenary Lounge. ‘Victorian optical toys’. Toys which led to the development of film, with exhibits by Bob Massey. All welcome, non-members £2, refreshments & publications available, plus raffle. Friday 1st ‘LEST WE FORGET’ CONCERT - 7.30pm Bunny Parish Church, featuring South Notts Hussars Association Band, Alexandra Brooks & local participants. Tickets £8 (inc refresh.) from Keyworth Church, call 914 2930 or on the door. Charity Raffle in support of ‘Care After Combat’. Saturday 2nd RUSHCLIFFE PLAY FORUM - 11am-3pm. Bungalow next to Keyworth Primary School, Nottingham Road. Shop selling discounted arts and crafts materials. Sunday 3rd COFFEE MORNING - Save the Children Fund - 10.30am-12.30pm 35 Main Street. £1 inc. coffee & biscuits. Founded 100 yrs ago by Eglantyne Jeb who was responsible for saving many children’s lives. Help us raise funds to save many others. Raffle, tombola, cakes & produce incl. Christmas Cards. Tuesday 5th BINGO AT THE TAVERN - 2.15pm - Keyworth Tavern Public House. Adm. Free. Tel. 937 6501 for details, raffle - money raised goes to a chosen charity. Wednesday 6th RUSHCLIFFE COUNTRY PARK - Linger by the lake - 10am-12noon. We sell biscuits & tea cakes. All proceeds go to making the park a better place to visit. Tel. 0115 921 5865.
