ESSENTIAL INFORMATION... Parklife 2018 is now just around the corner! please take a minute to read everything you need to know about this year's event. Headline acts will be on early. We advise arriving to the festival between 10am and midday. Please bare in mind there will be tens of thousands of people travelling to and from Heaton Park, so please make sure you have a firm travel plan (both to & from the festival) OPENING TIMES Saturday 9th of June – 10:30 – 23:00 Sunday 10th of June – 11:30 – 23:00 Last entry to the festival is 17:00 No re-admittance allowed after leaving the festival site TRAVELLING TO & FROM THE FESTIVAL: Please bare in mind there will be tens of thousands of people travelling to and from the Heaton Park so make sure you have a firm travel plan in place for the journey to and from the festival We strongly advise arriving at the festival between the hours of 10am and midday. TICKET TOUTS if you buy a ticket from a tout outside the site you will be paying well above face value and there is a high probability that the tickets are fake and will not allow you entry to the festival. for more information on the nationwide problem of fake tickets please visit the ticket scam section of our website here. anyone seen purchasing tickets from touts outside the site will be denied entry to the festival, we work hard the the GPM in order to prevent any disappointed customers. PLANNING YOUR JOURNEY TO HEATON PARK the Parklife travel Pass is the quickest and most convenient way to travel to and from Heaton Park, for just £2.50 each way it's a festival essential. WRISTBAND EXCHANGE saturday 9th june & sunday 10th june only: minshull street 9:30 - 17:00 cathedral gardens 10:00 - 17:00 BY TRAIN BY LOCAL BUS SERVICE long distance and local train services run to Manchester Heaton Park is served by these existing bus routeS Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria stations in the city centre, from around Greater Manchester 135, 59, 64, 484, 495, 164, 165. where passengers can connect to other public transport services to Heaton Park. Monitored by event stewards, this official car park costs: Customers booking their own private hire vehicles £10 in advance need to to direct them to the pick up point £15 per car if paid on arrival. at Heaton Park Sainsbury’s. Note it is a cash only car park, card payments are not accepted. there is absolutely no on street parking around the event site, a residents permit scheme is in place and there will be DROP OFF & PICK-UP POINTS a number of road closures in place around Heaton Park. Sainsbury’s heaton park located on heaton park road, m9 0qs is the official drop off and puck-up point for parklife 2018. traffic wardens will be patrolling the area around Heaton Park and your car will be towed and impounded by the wardens. you should use only the areas clearly signed within the car park so as to not interfere with regular store operations. ARRIVAL ON SITE there are 3 ticket holder entrance gates at Parklife 2018: North, east and We st. North Gate is situated within Heaton Park, access the park through any gate and follow the directional signage to North Gat e . East Gate is located on Sheepfoot Lane West Gate is located on Bury Old Road there is a dedicated and accessible VIP gate also located at the lakeside gate on sheepfoot lane.. If you want to see a particular artist, there will also be edics and irst iders on patrol around the event. please arrive early to the stage to avoid disappointment. Once the tents if at any time you feel at all unwell during the festival, have reached capacity we will be enforcing a one in one out policy. please find a member of staff or security who will be able to assist.
