#PGATOUR! INTRODUCTION Bryan Ahearn couldn’t believe his good luck. His employer, ParFour Marketing, has relied on him to de- liver insightful and successful marketing strategies for key clients as the “Voice of the Millennial.” As the largest living generation, many brands and media companies knew that millennials, and the following generation, Gen Z, were critical to their success in the future. Now, Bryan was given an assignment to develop a media and marketing plan for the PGA TOUR for the upcoming season that would engage Mil- lennials with the organization’s social media, viewership, and events. Bryan had been a golfer since high school, and played on his college team. His vacations and business trips often included finding a new golf course wherever he traveled. However, he knew mere enthusi- asm for the sport would not satisfy the PGA TOUR. He knew that success for this client would center on delivering results on five key performance indicators (KPI’s): o Increase attendance of 18-34-year-old fans on-site (at tournaments) ▪ The amount of time spent on-site ▪ The amount of money spent on-site o Convert casual fans who watch majors and other sports into PGA TOUR tournament at- tendees o Provide excitement for fans looking for social and memorable experiences o Increase the number of Millennials who watch PGA TOUR events on various social media platforms o Increase the number of Millennial followers on PGA TOUR social media PGA TOUR Bryan first reviewed the scope of his client. He learned that the PGA TOUR is headquartered in Ponte Vedra, FL, USA, and is the main organizer of the professional golf tournaments played primarily by male golfers in the United States and North America.

NEXT STOP: PGA TOUR / 2011 Over the final weeks of the 2010 season, the Nationwide Tour is tracking the competition for a spot in "The 25". The top-25 money winners at the conclusion of next week's Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island in Charleston, S.C. (Oct. 28-31) will be awarded PGA TOUR cards for 2011. Miccosukee Championship winner Jason Gore put himself in contention to recapture his PGA TOUR card. The Californian came to Miami 124th on the money list. While he still has a lot of work to do, he arrives in Ponte Vedra Beach this week 39th. Scott Gutschewski is in a strong position to earn a return trip to the PGA TOUR as he grabbed a T2 finish to move from 27th to 18th. After missing his last five cuts, Chris Nallen fell four spots and now occupies the bubble position at No. 25. He has a $2,853 cushion over David Hearn , whose was in contention for the win in Miami only to play the last 11 holes in five-over par. At one point he was projected to finish the week inside the top 15 on the money list. The Canadian started the week at No. 30. The Nationwide Tour is in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. for the first time this week, playing the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open presented by Planters at TPC Sawgrass / Dye's Valley Course at PGA TOUR headquarters. Snedeker comes into the week ranked outside the top-50 in the Official World Golf Ranking (No. 63). As a result of that, having not won in 2014 and a career-high, 86 th -place finish in the 2014 FedExCup standings, he is not currently eligible to compete in this year’s Masters Tournament or World Golf Championships events. Snedeker needs a victory prior to Augusta to earn a spot into this year’s Masters field and to be ranked inside the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking by February 23 to earn a spot into the WGC-Cadillac Championship field. Snedeker has competed in every Masters Tournament since 2008.
