This ranks with the first Vaultage LP as one of the best local compilations. Favourites are For a Moment and My Heart Belongs To Daddy, by Q Dance, but why is Jo's voice mixed as though she's singing in a ._ . tube station?Ifshe can sing like Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne or Sarah Vaughan (and she can) there's no need. Lots of pop charm from Jennie Cruse and The Red Squares; Shadows/Morricone instrumentals by The Little Legends; pre-Mission Gothic from This Co lour; and Hove poetry from The Rev. All in all an excellent slice of Brighton-based pop music in the eighties.
