FINANCIAL – A.Adoption of the 2015-2016 Budget: A1. Recommend the Board adopt the 2015-2016 Budget as follows: WHEREAS, the Tentative Budget was adopted for the 2015-2016 School Year by the Monmouth Regional High School Board of Education on March 17, 2015 . WHEREAS, the tentative budget was approved by the Executive County Superintendent of Schools on Friday, March 20, 2015 and WHEREAS, said Budget was advertised in the Asbury Park Press on Monday, April 20, 2015 WHEREAS, at a public hearing on May 5, 2015 the proposed budget was presented and the public was given the opportunity to comment on said budget WHEREAS, this budget was posted on the district website at the following address on March 20, 2015 at the following address for the user friendly portion of the budget: http://www.monmouthregional.net/mrhs/Important%20Information/User%20Friendly%20Budget/ WHEREAS, the Monmouth Regional High School Board of Education considers the budget as presented to the public on May 5, 2015 is necessary to provide a thorough and efficient quality education to the students of the district. Anticipated Enrollment: 980.0 EXPENDITURES: General Fund $26,460,692 Special Revenue Funds $409,937.00 Debt Service Funds $606,237.00 GRAND TOTAL $27,476,866 3 | P a g e MAY 5, 2015 AND, that the aforesaid amounts be adopted as a final Budget for the 2015-2016 School Year And RESOLVED: that the district bank $222,835 in “banked cap” to be available for use in 2016-17 and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the anticipated revenues to support the 2015-2016 Final Budget are as follows: REVENUES: Balance Appropriated Fund 10 $974,213 General Fund Local Tax Levy $20,302,512 Withdrawal for Capital Projects $1,377,000 Transportation Feeds from other LEAs $363,590 Interest Earned on Capital Reserve Funds $50 Unrestricted Miscellaneous Revenues $87,001 State Aid General Fund $3,356,326 Federal and State Aid Special Projects $409,937.00 Balance Appropriated Fund 40 $0.00 Debt Service Local Tax Levy $606,237.00 TOTAL REVENUES: $27,476,866 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that there should be raised for the General Fund $ 20,302,512 for the ensuing school year (2015-2016) It is noted that the User Friendly Budget will be posted on the district website within 48 hours of approval of this resolution.
