The Bachelor of Design’s entry in the University handbook has been updated to include program details and subjects offered in 2017.

The handbook entry includes detailed information on learning outcomes, course structure, entry requirements and an overview of the diverse subject offering. It covers majors, minors, specialisations, electives and breadth options.

Applications for the 2017 Extension Program close on Thursday 15 December 2017. The Extension Program provides high achieving students with an opportunity to undertake first year university study during Year 12. Subjects offered through the Extension Program build on VCE studies and extend study to first-year university level. The Extension Program offers an academic challenge and a taste of university life, as well as the opportunity to gain an ATAR increment and credit towards a subsequent undergraduate degree. There are no University of Melbourne tuition fees for WHERE ARE THEY Extension Program students in 2017. In 2017, the Extension Program will feature three new subject areas: Advanced NOW? proJecT German, Engineering Systems and Italian. There are a total of 28 subjects across the humanities, language, mathematics, science and commerce disciplines.
