St. Jude Classic News Story This June St. Jude Children’s Hospital hosted their 59th Annual FedEx St. Jude Classic Golf Tournament. The week long tournament is a regular stop on the PGA tour and hosts golfers from all around the world. Big names such as Daniel Berger, Phil Mickelson, and Adam Scott are regular visitors to the tournament battling for the ultimate Championship Jacket. Daniel Berger won the 2017 tournament, successfully defending his 2016 title. Federal Express is the title sponsor, and companies all over Memphis contribute to the tournament to benefit St. Jude and to help ensure that the event is a success. Wilson Air Center – Memphis hosted the golfers and fans as they flew in and out of our terminal throughout the week. Wilson Air Center also created a fuel donation program, donating twenty-five cents for every gallon of fuel sold during the tournament week. Special thanks to all the golfers and fans that flew into Wilson Air Center that week, because with your help we sold 8,897 gallons of fuel and donated $2,224.25 to St. Jude! All donations go to ensure that families receiving treatment at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Because the family’s only concern should be their child healing. If you would like to make a donation, please visit the St Jude website: https://www.stjude.org/give.html Wilson Air Center – Memphis is proud to all tournament attendees and donate to such a great organization. Congratulations to all the golfers and we will see you in 2018 for the next round! .
