Message from Inspector Dave Burke

The Beat Manager team have been working hard across the district, supporting rural communities and responding to neighbourhood priorities. The team held a meeting at Poringland Community Centre on September 26th and it was great to hear posi- tive feedback from the local community. Local intelligence is invaluable to us, so if you have any information please report it via your local neighbourhood officer, 101, or Crimestoppers.

We have door posters for those who do not want to be disturbed by trick or treaters. If you would like a poster please contact me or go to our web- site www..police.uk If you have children who will be out trick or treating make sure they know to only go to houses with lights on, with a pumpkin outside, to never go off alone and to stay in well-lit areas. When it comes to fireworks we would like to remind you that it is an offence to set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am. Be safe, respectful and have fun.
