You don’t have to be the most experienced of riders. Novices are welcome at all our rides. CMO is an equestrian sport for the competitive as well as family horse rider! CMO is like a mounted treasure hunt, which tests your horsemanship, your map reading ability, and your compass skills - all while having great fun with your horse! The object of the sport is to ride out either as an individual or a team on a prearranged course, in pursuit of cleverly concealed “stations”, finding as many as you can- in the least amount of time. However, how fast you go is totally up to you! You are awarded points, first, for the number of stations you find, and then for the amount of time you spend on the course. Riders new to CMO are always welcome! Horses must be at least three years old to compete. Junior riders must have signed parental permission to ride. You may compete as an individual or as a team or family, friends or 4-H club. For more information about this ride or CMO in general, contact: Dustin Sloan (269)998-2402 [email protected] Come put it on the line at the Take A Gamble CMO. Win, Place, Show, or Picket you will have a great time. .
