Happy Monday Team Bennet! Michael was very busy this past week, making stops in the east, the west, and places in between. From New Hampshire, to Memphis, to Las Vegas — we are making sure every undecided voter knows about his vision for the next generation and why he’s the best candidate to beat Donald Trump in 2020. But we couldn’t do it without your help! There are many ways to show your support, and this week, we need you knocking doors in New Hampshire! On Sunday, November 24th, we are holding a Day of Action in Manchester, where Michael, Susan, and a gang of staff and volunteers aim to reach every Democratic voter in the city. Sign up today to join us for this critical — and family friendly — outreach event. More details are below. Last night, Michael gave a rousing speech at the Nevada Democrats’ First in the West dinner, where he shared why he’s fighting to build the kind of opportunity that his mother had when she came to this country after surviving the Holocaust. Watch the speech here Be on the look out for more this week, including Michael’s speech on Wednesday night at the Council on Foreign Relations. We’re also excited to report that Michael is now on the ballot in four states and has submitted paperwork for two more. We’re coming for you Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, New Hampshire, and Utah! Do you live in Illinois, Maine, Washington, Ohio, or Virginia? We need your help getting on the ballot in these states. Contact Joe Kabourek, our Deputy National Political Director, at [email protected] to get involved. On the Road Michael and Susan stopped in Memphis this week, where we held a town hall with more than 60 students at Rhodes College. As a former school superintendent, Michael is laser focused on fighting for our kids, and he had a great time meeting so many engaged young people. We are on the move in New Hampshire. Following the previous week’s announcement of key New Hampshire endorsements and filing to be on the ballot in the Granite State, Bennet for America announced it is expanding its operation and hiring new staff in the state — at the same time as other campaigns are being forced to pull out of the state. This is all possible because of your support, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Michael also declared that he intends to spend more time in the Granite State than anyone else between now and the primary. The New Hampshire Union-Leader editorial board reminded observers last week that “New Hampshire voters, independents and Democrats alike, are starting to look at true moderates like Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Sen. Michael Bennet as February nears.” He began making good on his commitment right away, spending the weekend in the Granite State meeting with voters and political leaders. On Friday, Michael sat down with student ambassadors for the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, followed by a house party in Nashua. Michael was on fire on Friday night, sharing personal stories and clearly making the case for why he should be our nominee. Check out highlights from the night here. Please share this video far and wide! On Saturday, Michael started the day in Concord, meeting with advocates from the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, where he heard from voters and shared his own story. He also held a town hall at New England College and a meet and greet in Claremont and then wrapped up the weekend with a stop in to Boston’s NBC station. Watch the segment here. In the News Michael penned an op-ed in the Des Moines Register last week focused on pursuing an agenda that invests in the next generation — one that has been forged by his leadership of the Denver Public Schools and 10 years of town halls with constituents across Colorado. He also made an appearance on CNN’s New Day this weekend, where he made a forceful case for why he’s the best candidate to beat Donald Trump in 2020. Other top hits: ● WMUR: Sen.
