The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands specifi ed in the schedule below are to be acquired under Chennai – Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project for Highways purpose for strengthening and widening of SH-58 (Part II) Kanchipuram – Arakkonam- Tirutani Road at Km 66/940 to 67/250 km (LHS) and km 66/940 to 67/100 km.(RHS) Kanchipuram Town, Ward-4, Block-57 Kanchipuram Taluk, Kanchipuram District, and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Divisional Engineer(H), Kanchipuram (CKICP), Tamil Nadu, after having considering the cause shown by the owner or other persons having interest on such lands as the case may do hereby publish the following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (TN Act 34 of 2002) read with the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws (Revival of Operation, Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019.     Research Article Assessment of fluoride concentration in Palar River in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, India R. Pradeep Kumar1*, R. Priya1, Lakshmi Thangavelu2 ABSTRACT Back ground: River Palar is one of the most contaminated rivers of India due to various industries. Aim:To study the fluoride concentration in the Pallar river. Four river water samples were collected during the pre-monsoon season spanning over June 2015. Methodology: Fluoride levels were analyzed by standardized analytical method by the Chief Water Analyst, State Level Water Testing Laboratory, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai (ISO 9001–2000 - Certified). Result: In the present study, fluoride contents in all samples ranged between 0.18 and 0.22 mg/l, which are less than the optimum range of 1.5 mg/l, as recommended by the WHO. KEY WORDS: Fluoride, Palar River, Water quality INTRODUCTION of the global tanning factories are located in this state.     DISTRICT WISE CLIMATE CHANGE INFORMATION FOR THE STATE OF TAMIL NADU TEMPERATURE PROJECTIONS FOR KANCHIPURAM 4.1 About Kanchipuram Kanchipuram district is situated on the northeast coast of Tamil Nadu. It is a temple city. It lies between 11° 00' to 12° 00' latitudes and 77° 28' to 78° 50' longitudes.1,2 The district has a total geographical area of 4,43,210 hectares and a Fig 4.1 Changes in Max. Through most of the year it remains dry, attributed to the construction of dams across the river in Andhra Pradesh. Direct Marketing will ensure a fair price for farmers and high level of satisfaction among consumers. Here comes the importance of Uzhavar Santhais otherwise called Farmer’s Market. This concept was first originated in Russia. In Tamil Nadu, this idea was implemented at Madurai in the year 1999 by the DMK Government. To a certain extent with well-planned organisation and suitable administrative, marketing and infrastructure facilities, it ensures convenient marketing. These “Uzhavar Santhai’s” also plays a great role in the elimination of middle men and commission agents who charge high commission fees from the farmers.
