TESS BURGLER Princess Catherine Middleton Tess can’t tell you how exciting it is to play this role across from her real-life prince. OSF audiences might remember her as: d’Artagnan, Hermione, Rosalind, Ariel, Viola, Juliet, Cordelia, Maid Marian, Rosaline, Imogen, among others. She has been directing the Greenshows at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens for almost a decade. She's also begun to direct for the OSF mainstage (The Complete Works of WIlliam Shakespeare (abdridged)) and the remounted production of Robin Hood: An Adventure, with Music). Later this season, she’ll be playing Kate Middleton in King Charles III. She is beyond grateful for you, this theatre, and her Smallville. DEDE KLEIN Queen Camilla Although this is Dede’s first appearance at Greystone Hall, she has performed for OSF in I Hate Hamlet (Lillian), King Lear (Regan), King Richard III (Duchess). She has also been seen on stage at Coach House Theatre, Weathervane Playhouse, None Too Fragile, Beck Center, and CVLT. Some of her memorable shows are Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks (Lillian), Blithe Spirit (Madame Arcati), The Glass Menagerie (Amanda), Doubt (Sister Aloyisious), Lion In Winter (Eleanor). When not on stage, Dede builds and restores dollhouses. MICHAEL KNOBLOCH Clive / Butler / Servant / Ensemble Michael is thrilled to be a member of the cast of King Charles III in his second year as a company member with Ohio Shakespeare Festival. Last year he made his OSF debut as part of Comedy of Errors (Antipholus double). Some favorite credits include Jekyll & Hyde (Dr. Henry Jekyll/Mr. Edward Hyde) at French Creek Theatre, Next to Normal (Henry) at Brecksville Theatre on the Square, and Assassins (John Wilkes Booth) at Near West Theatre. Michael has performed at a host of NEOhio theatres in addition to those mentioned above including Beck Center for the Arts, Interplay Jewish Theatre, and Weathervane Playhouse, among others. Enjoy and thank GEOFF KNOX* Prince Harry Geoff could not be more excited to be back with Ohio Shakespeare Festival. A company member since 2003, Geoff has performed in many plays at OSF. Some of his favorites include Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, Macduff in Macbeth and Caliban in The Tempest. Other Akron/Cleveland Theaters Geoff has performed at include Coach House Theatre, Ensemble, Dobama, and Cleveland Public Theatre. He is a graduate of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory in Sarasota, Florida. RACHEL LEE KOLIS Jess Rachel is very excited to be making her Ohio Shakespeare Festival debut. She is a proud graduate of the Cleveland School of the Arts and trained at The Drama Centre London. She has been seen on stage with Dobama Theatre (Marie Antionette, Kin, 4,000 Miles), Great Lakes Theatre Festival (Richard III), Mamai Theatre Co. (The Woman Hater, Lady Windermere’s Fan, A Streetcar Named Desire, A Doll’s House) Theatre Ninjas ([Sic], Tall Skinny Cruel, Cruel Boys), Cleveland Public Theater (Dontrell Who Kissed the Sea), Clague Playhouse (Proof) and None Too Fragile (A Kind Like Jake, Last of the Boys). She is a company member at Convergence Continuum where she has appeared in Self Defense, Fool for Love, and Terminus. JASON LEUPOLD Mr. Stevens Jason is thrilled to finally test just how much audiences will deal with him during this full season at Greystone Hall! Jason is a local professional, private instructor, podcast co-host, and five-year company member with OSF who proudly holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State. He has performed in numerous theatres both in Northeast Ohio and in NYC. Most recently, audiences may remember him as Amiens (As You Like It) or Autolycus (The Winter’s Tale) over the summer with OSF, Sgt. Trotter (The Mousetrap) at Coach House, or Lord Aster (Peter and the Starcatcher) at Dobama. As always, much love to his amazing wife Sarah, the Great 8, his Backstage Buddy, and family and friends for their continued love and support. SCOTT MILLER* King Charles III Scott Miller is the Director of the Cleveland School of the Arts (CSA) Theater Program. Scott has worked as an actor and director in NYC and at various regional theaters including the McCarter Theater, People’s Light and Theater Company and the Kennedy Center. Locally Scott appeared at Dobama Theater in The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia, I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document…, God of Carnage and most recently The Mystery of Love and Sex; Tally’s Folly and Burial at Thebes for Ensemble Theatre; and Cleveland Heights for the JCC Arts Center. Recently he directed Made in America, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, The Seafarer, and Sons of the Prophet for Dobama Theater, Choices for Ensemble Theatre, Bunnicula for The Cleveland Play House and The Merchant of Venice for Cleveland Shakespeare, as well as dozens of shows at CSA. Prior to coming to Cleveland Scott served as the Artistic Director of The Children’s Theater of Charlotte and at the Orange Summer Shakespeare Festival. Scott graduated from Drama Centre, London England, and New York University. JOE PINE Prince William Joe has been involved in many of the tremendous new programs offered this year since acquiring the new theatre, still finding time to act in recent productions of The Three Musketeers, The Winter’s Tale, Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) and Robin Hood: An Adventure, with Music. Favorite OSF credits include Hotspur (Henry IV p. 1), Feste (Twelfth Night) and Stephano (Tempest). Other regional credits include George (Of Mice and Men, Coach House Theatre), Slank (Peter and the Starcatcher, Dobama), Fersen (Marie Antionette, Dobama) and Billis (South Pacific, E.J. Thomas Hall). This one's for you, Lo'. Look, up in the sky--! SCOTT SHRINER Tristram Evans Scott is so excited and grateful to perform with this superbly talented company on the Henry C. Bishop stage! An OSF member since 2004, he's appeared as Duke Theseus in Midsummer, Oswald in King Lear, Cassio in Othello, both Malvolio and Antonio in Twelfth Night, and Gary in I Hate Hamlet, among others. Additional recent roles are Max in Lend Me a Tenor (both Weathervane and Coach House), Howie in Rabbit Hole (Weathervane), Will Nothnagel in The Book Club Play (Actors’ Summit), and Charles Condomine in Blithe Spirit (Coach House). Love to my gorgeous wife Emily! MARK STOFFER Archbishop of Canterbury / Speaker of the House Lighting and Sound Design Mark returns for his 8th year with Ohio Shakes. This summer, he played Lebeau and Antigonus in As You Like It and The Winter’s Tale. Last season, he was the Goldsmith in The Comedy of Errors at OSF's Greystone Hall, Major Metcalf in The Mousetrap at Coach House Theatre and Sherlock Holmes in Baskerville..., also at CHT. In addition to these performances, he designed lights and/or sound for nine productions and many more special events in past year. Although most evenings will find him at a theater, he actually lives in Cuyahoga Falls with his wife, Sherri. KELSEY TOMLINSON The Ghost / Sarah / Ensemble Kelsey is ecstatic to be returning to OSF. She was most recently seen as Constance in The Three Musketeers… Other recent roles include the Courtezan in Comedy of Errors, Sandra in A Thousand Clowns (Coach House Theatre), and Maggie in The Man Who Came to Dinner (Weathervane). Beyond acting, she currently serves as the Resident Costume Designer for OSF. Audiences may remember her recent costume work from The Winter's Tale, Comedy of Errors, and The Mousetrap (Coach House Theatre). When not here, she can be found rock climbing, reading, or trying her hand at music. Much love to family & friends. DERRICK WINGER James Reiss Derrick is ecstatic to be a part of OSF’s first Ohio premiere. A company member for 7 years, his Ohio Shakespeare credits include Richard III (Hastings), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Snug), Henry IV pt.1 (Owain Glendower), Henry V (Exeter), Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Lone Star (Ray), Robin Hood… (King Richard), The Three Musketeers… (Planchet), among others. Other favorites: Of Mice and Men (Lennie), Spider’s Web (Jeremy), and Philadelphia Story (George) at Coach House Theatre, and Shakespeare in Hollywood (Oberon) and The Lion in Winter (Richard) at Weathervane Playhouse. When he isn’t on stage, Derrick is often at home in Northfield planning adventures and training his young shield maiden in combat, poetry, and song. He’d like to thank Nancy for the opportunity to be a part of this fantastic project, and his wife Justine for letting him play. He’d like to thank the best-looking audience around for coming out and supporting local theatre. KATIE ZARECKI Spencer / Sir Michael / Free Newspaper Woman Since graduating from Bowling Green State University with a B.M. in vocal performance, Katie has appeared at a variety of venues as actress and/or choreographer. Some of her favorite past shows are Evil Dead: the Musical, Cabaret with Blank Canvas Theatre, and Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks with Coach House Theatre. For the past four seasons she has been a part of the Ohio Shakespeare Festival appearing in and choreographing the Greenshows and plays. In whatever free time she has, Katie teaches dance and voice for Wayne Center for the Arts and Cleveland Heights High School. RYAN ZARECKI Cootsy / Sir Gordon / Nick Fight Director Recently seen in As You Like It, Three Musketeers…, Complete Works … and Lone Star, he can't get enough of the Ohio Shakespeare Festival. When not throwing himself about the set, or building ones, he choreographs/teaches stage combat all over the Akron/Cleveland area, runs the monthly Fight Nights for OSF as well as creating custom leather goods in his Etsy shop The Buckle and Rose.
