With its bedroom fireplace, stunning skylight and panoramic views, everything is set for a memorable night at Glenapp. 22 33 THE ENDEAVOUR A brief description The Endeavour Penthouse Apartment has been in the planning for more than two years aiming to become Scotland’s finest Castle Apartment. This 4,000 square feet (371 square metres) laterally converted apartment, sits high above the West Coast of Scotland overlooking the Firth of Clyde. The apartment has extraordinary views of the iconic Ailsa Craig island (pictured in the photograph opposite), the isle of Arran, the Mull of Kintyre and on a good day, Ireland. The Endeavour has been beautifully designed incorporating fine antiques and art from around the world together with an array of rich and colourful fabrics. The accommodation includes a sensitive combination of traditional Scottish baronial style and contemporary additions, with high-tech touches for the most discerning of international travellers. The apartment includes four stunning bedrooms and four bathrooms, a beautiful TV snug with seating for twelve, and a separate library and games room. With panoramic views to the West, the lounge and dining room is able to seat sixteen guests with an adjacent period kitchen, with its own breakfast seating. The apartment has nautical themes throughout, referencing the Castle’s maritime history and splendour and these speak of a bygone era throughout the entire floors. Towards the south of the apartment, there is also a sauna, treatment room and private lift. Finally, in the tower section of the Castle, sits a spiral stone staircase giving access to the very top of the Glenapp Castle Hotel with its historic turrets and crenelations.
