The course include elements of blood bank management, lab instruments management etc. students are trained to clean and maintain lab equipment , manage biomedical waste and adheres to quality control standards as per the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laborites (NABL) regulations.(1) Review of Literature In today's date, there are 144 Medical Lab Technician colleges in India offering 182 courses related to it. Medical technician colleges in India are set of institutions that teaches procedures and processes related to life saving techniques and first aid skills.(2) Medical technician course is a curriculum designed for candidates who want to pursue a career in healthcare industry. Training about emergency lifesaving activities are given to the students of medical technician colleges in India. (1) These colleges also provide accredited EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) certification to the students with good placement opportunities. Candidates interested for this course should have a medical background or should have 10+2 from science stream with at least 50% in 10+2 or equivalent from recognized school and board. Bachelor and Diploma degrees are available for this course in India. (MLT)” “B. M. L. T. (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology)” “D. M. L. T. (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology)” Scope of MLT The MLT Degree holder can works many places. These are the different areas which can be helpful to get an opportunity to work in different fields. The scope is very vast and endless. Because we required the MLTs in every Hospitals, Industries, Research Institutes, Academics and also in Government sectors. Medical lab technician jobs are expected to increase by 13 percent through 2026, according to the BLS. This is much faster than the average occupation, which is largely due to federal health legislation and an aging population, resulting in a greater need for diagnosis of cancer and diabetes. 2. Career prospective of a student depends upon the ability of knowledge of academic and technical professions which leads with “health care” professionals. 3. Medical laboratory technologist are perform very important role in the healthcare, the doctors referred to them for diagnose the diseases in the patient. 4. The lab technologist, collects blood sample, perform tests and diagnose diseases. 5. In medical lab technology profession tissue, urine, stool or other body fluids like CSF, pleural fluid, they perform tests and diagnose the diseases and helps to correct it. They are also providing the helping hands to the clinicians. They have special role in the Diagnosis. All the Medical system is incomplete without the MLTs. In India, there are 144 medical lab technicians institutes offering approx. 182 courses related to it. Three main courses are B.Sc. (MLT), B.M.L.T., and D. M. L. T. It is worth to do this course because it offers huge scope in science field and many areas of opportunities like: Healthcare centers, Clinical laboratories, Hospitals, Universities, Organ banks, Biotechnology labs, Research center, Medical equipment companies etc. In nearby future is will provide the good opportunities to the students with good earnings. Faculty of private university has so many responsibilities in addition to teaching activities. Most of the time, faculty is occupied with work assignments, curriculum changes, co-curricular activities, office work, etc. This heavy workload leads to generation of stress. To make this workload a comfortable job, the working environment of the work area plays a relevant role. This study aims to examine the working environment of private universities. The sample unit constitutes the staff from the fifteen private universities of Punjab state. The data has been collected from 496 staff members via random probability method. The exploratory factor analysis is used to extract the desired factors constituting the working environment. The findings obtained after using exploratory factor analysis shows that social, physical and psychological environment is three important aspects which impacts the mindset of faculty members.
