VANESSA LEE DISNEY PERFORMER FOR SHOWS AND PARADES FRIDAY, APRIL 17TH - 1:00PM (CENTRAL) Hello, my name is Vanessa Lee and I’m originally from Laredo, Texas. I started working for World Disney World right after college. I had been dancing and performing my entire life and I knew I wasn’t finished at the end of college. I had several friends who encouraged me to audition to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, because that is what you do in Texas. I just knew Dallas wouldn’t be a perfect fit for me. I had to find other options. I had a friend who was performing at Walt Disney World and loved it so I decided to audition and, thankfully, got the job. I’ve been performing in shows and parades across property for eight years now! Times flies when you’re having fun! Through out my Disney Career, I've had the privilege to perform on live international television for "Despierta America" on Univision and "Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway Show" for British Telelvision. I've also performed Festival of The Lion King on "The View" featuring Whoopi Goldberg and cast. My other endeavors include various performances in Disney Parks Christmas Day Special, including the 2018 opening performance with Jordan Fisher and Sarah Hyland. My greatest accomplishment has been, being invited to perform "Jungle Book Alive With Magic" at the White House for Michelle Obama at the Kid's State Dinner in 2016.
