    16/02/2004 Perak gigih atur strategi makmur rakyat WAWANCARA khas dengan Menteri Besar Perak Datuk Seri Diraja Dr Tajol Rosli Ghazali sempena lawatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi ke negeri Perak dan perasmian bangunan Umno Perak hari ini. SOALAN: Lawatan Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi ke Perak pada 16 Februari ini adalah lawatan rasmi pertamanya sebagai Perdana Menteri ke negeri ini. Sebagai Menteri Besar dan juga Pengerusi Perhubungan Umno negeri, bagaimana Datuk Seri melihat kepentingan lawatan ini? MB: Kami pernah menerima lawatan bekas Perdana Menteri, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad ketika beliau menjadi Perdana Menteri, begitu juga Datuk Seri Abdullah ketika beliau menjawat jawatan Timbalan Perdana Menteri. Bagaimanapun, lawatan rasmi Pak Lah ke Perak kali ini adalah sebagai Perdana Menteri. Memandangkan lawatan kali ini adalah lawatan rasmi pertamanya, sudah tentu kami akan meraikan dan mengalu-alukan pelantikan beliau sebagai Perdana Menteri. Pak Lah sudah memaklumkan kepada kami beliau mahu bertemu semua lapisan rakyat negeri Perak. Pada sebelah pagi, Pak Lah akan menghadap Sultan Perak. Selepas itu, kami membawa Pak Lah melawat Kampung Manjoi bagi melancar dan merasmikan Projek Perbandaran Manjoi iaitu kampung Melayu terbesar di negara ini dan beliau akan merasmikan upacara pecah tanah bagi projek perbandaran itu. Soalan: Datuk Seri pernah berkhidmat dengan Dr Mahathir dan Pak Lah. Melalui pengamatan Datuk Seri, apa perbezaan paling ketara antara kedua- dua pemimpin ini? MB: Pak Lah lebih bersikap terbuka, kita boleh berbincang dengan Pak Lah sebagai kawan atau adik beradik. Dr Mahathir juga agak terbuka tetapi apabila kita berbincang dengan beliau, kita lebih menghormatinya sebagai seorang bapa kerana mungkin wujudnya perbezaan usia.
