Sinossi La Produzione SINOSSI Michael Stone, marito, padre e stimato autore di "How May I Help You Help Them?"

On a business trip to Cincinnati, where he's scheduled to speak at a convention of customer service professionals, Michael checks into the Fregoli Hotel and meets Lisa Hesselman (Jennifer Jason Leigh), a socially awkward sales rep from Akron who may or may not be the love of his life. From Charlie Kaufman (writer, BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, ADAPTATION, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, director, SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK), and Duke Johnson comes a darkly comedic and surreal stop-motion journey into the mind of a man whose dark night of the soul becomes a Kafkaesque — make that Kaufmanesque — nightmare. ABOUT THE PRODUCTION The first animated film directed by Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson began its life as a play in 2005, as part of composer Carter Burwell's adventurous Theater of a New Ear project, bringing together Academy Award®-winning writer- directors Charlie Kaufman and Joel & Ethan Coen for a double-bill "sound play," performed in New York, London and Los Angeles. For these performances, Burwell — who wrote the score for Kaufman penned screenplays’ BEING JOHN MALKOVICH and ADAPTATION and many of the Coen Brothers' films — assembled a chamber ensemble, performing live accompaniment alongside Foley artist Marko Costanzo's sound effects, as Kaufman's "Hope Leaves the Theater," starring Hope Davis, Peter Dinklage and Meryl Streep, and the Coens' "Sawbones" unfurled on a barren stage with actors reading their lines from stools in the style of old-time radio plays.

TV Guide If the DA is approved the giant artwork should be on the silos by the end of the year. The artist Sid Tapia and his team fi rst visited Merriwa in September 2017, speaking with locals including school children. Since that consultation, a number of different images have been considered by the Merriwa Tourism and Promotion Committee. Earlier this year the Merriwa community was asked to vote on their favourite from three possible designs. An image of sheep in red socks in a fi eld with a hut and windmill in the background attracted the largest number of votes, and was chosen by the Committee. Mayor Wayne Bedggood thanked the Merriwa Tourism and Promotion Committee for their ongoing work and GrainCorp for their agreement to partner in the public art project. Chair of the Committee Cr Ron Campbell said the silos art will be an attractive and eye-catching marker for Merriwa. “This will be a great tourist attraction visible from the Golden Highway,” he said. The creation of large public art projects including silo art, was one of the recommendations in Council’s Merriwa Town Centre Masterplan based on consultations with the Merriwa community in 2015.

  • Robot Chicken” Bring Original Web Series “Friendship All-Stars” to L/Studio
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Creators of “Robot Chicken” Bring Original Web Series “Friendship All-Stars” to L/Studio Stop motion animation series coming this summer to Lexus broadband channel TORRANCE, Calif. (June 27, 2013)—L/Studio, the Lexus-owned broadband channel behind award-winning entertainment like “Web Therapy” and “Puppy Love,” is now partnering with the creators of “Robot Chicken” to debut a new stop motion animated comedy Web series “Friendship All-Stars.” Beginning July 24 on LStudio.com, “Friendship All-Stars” will feature 10 episodes airing every other week that will chronicle the gloriously mundane and offbeat adventures of pretend celebrity neighbors living together and goofing around in one giant apartment building. The original series was created by Harry Chaskin, Dan Lippert and Justin Michael, and will be executive produced by “Robot Chicken” creators and Emmy® and Annie award winning producers Seth Green and Matthew Senreich together with Annie award winning producers John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner. "This is a really unique, original and funny series. It's unapologetically silly and at times, just plain ridiculous,” remarks producer Seth Green. Executive Producers Eric Towner and John Harvatine IV add "This project comes from a place of pure love and admiration for the eccentric personalities it showcases. It's so absurd and fun!" Episodes feature a variety of amusing and unexpected celebrity pairings. One episode creates a Hawaiian shirt-off between a powerhouse animated film director and a Puerto Rican- American actor with a no-nonsense attitude. Another presents a style-clashing catastrophe when a colorfully androgynous English rock god and an infamous, anonymous street artist each try to put their own spin on their new apartment.
