I want to thank everyone for your efforts throughout 2013. It has been a year of some lows but many highs and we can all feel very proud of our efforts and achievements. We all know that Darley has many moving parts that work together with the aim of providing Sheikh Mohammed enjoyment from his horses and I encourage all of you to reflect on the successes that we have enjoyed in 2013. There were many great moments and achievements, such as: EXCEED AND EXCEL being crowned Champion sire in Australia and his homebred daughter Guelph victorious in four Group 1s. The feats of DAWN APPROACH, flying the flag for NEW APPROACH in carrying the Godolphin colours to win the 2,000 Guineas and the St James’s Palace Stakes. The brave win of FARHH in the QIPCO Champion Stakes for Godolphin, homebred in England and raised in Ireland.
