Use Frixion pen or embroidery marker to trace large hexie onto one piece of the red fabric- this will be back of ornament. Cut layered red fabric & batting into a hexie shape along the traced line with pinking shears or regular scissors. Insert ribbon loop between layers and hand sew to batting. Applique white hexie to center using white thread and tiny stitches. Just stitch to top layer of red fabric, don’t go through all of the layers. Use a running stitch & 3 strands of White embroidery floss to embroider 1/4” from edge of white hexie- go through all layers to hold together. If you’ve used regular scissors instead of pinking shears, you can blanket stitch, whip stitch or zig zag along edges if desired. 2 .
