Sri Sri Academy holds Gurotsav ri Sri Academy hosted the Gurotsav, ‘Celebrate the Teacher’ on a virtual platform Sto celebrate the birthday of our beloved Guruji, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on May 13. The Teachers Fest was inaugurated on May 12 and it was joined by principals from the partic- ipating schools and a group of emi- nent panelists, Amit Dasgupta, Ran- jan Mitter and Rajita Kulkarni, who shared their views on, ‘The Signifi- cance of a Transformational Guru in Education’. The Teachers Fest was joined by ten schools in Kolkata. The partici- pating schools were The Birla High School, Delhi Public School Newtown, Indus Valley World School, La Mar- tiniere For Boys, Mahadevi Birla World Academy, South City Interna- tional School, The Frank Anthony Public School, The Future Founda- tion School, The Heritage School and the host school, Sri Sri Academy, Kolkata. There was a total of eight events in which the participants could show- case their skills. The events were Spices of India, Art Junction, Design It, Video Tape, Sound Spirit, Let’s Act, Padam and Master Minds. The overall champion for the fest was Sri Sri Academy Kolkata, how- ever Sri Sri being the host school, of- fered the first position to Delhi Pub- lic School, Newtown and The Heritage school was the runners up for the event. The celebration ended with the closing ceremony on May 13 on a vir- tual platform. The names of winners for each event were announced along with the names of the winning schools in first, second and third position. The principals of various schools and teacher participants highly appreci- ated the host school Sri Sri Academy for their enthusiasm to arrange for such an event amidst the pandemic situation.
