Maric is enrolled at Life Center Academy, an independent private (15-of-18) from the line when the teams are Christian high school in Burlington, N.J. within 10 points. In Nebraska's last three games A 6-7, 230-pound forward, Sneed significantly boosted his rating with his solid play at the – all Husker victories – the Huskers have hit 84.8 King of the Court All-American Junior College Challenge and Rick Ball’s Elite Eighty Camp this percent (28-of-33) in the final two minutes. past summer. Sneed helped Colby (Kan.) Community College to a top-10 national ranking Senior Nate Johnson has led the Huskers and a 7-0 start in 2003-04. He averaged 8.4 points and 6.1 rebounds in 19 minutes per game and ranks third in the conference in free throw percentage by hitting 87.2 percent (68-of-78). In to start the season, while hitting 26-of-34 shots (.765) from the floor. crunch time, Johnson has been outstanding, as he has connected on 89.7 percent (35-of-39) in Quick Shots the final five minutes of NU's games.  The Huskers own 14 wins this season, three more than last year. It ties for the highest win total under Coach Collier, equaling the Huskers' 14 victories in 2001-02. Nebraska has Oh Captain, My Captain already guaranteed its first winning regular season under Collier. Guard Jake Muhleisen is the Huskers' lone captain  Nebraska’s 10 victories in the non-conference season were the most in four years this season. The junior from Lincoln is in his second under Collier. year as team captain.  With the win over Missouri Feb. 7, Coach Collier collected his 50th win at Nebraska. Two more wins will give Collier his 250th career victory as a head coach.  The Huskers have allowed opponents just 53.4 points per game on 35.4 percent shooting in 14 home games this season.  Nebraska has held its opponent to less than 40 points twice this season, including a Devaney Center-record low 26 points by Bethune-Cookman. The last time NU held at least two opponents to less than 40 points in the same season was 1950-51, when Nebraska defeated Northwest Missouri State 61-39 and Santa Clara 53-38.  NU is 9-0 under Coach Collier when holding opponents to 50 points or less, including 4-0 this year. Collier’s teams have gone 39-0 all-time when allowing 50 or fewer points.  NU has outrebounded 12 opponents in 21 games this season, after outrebounding just 12 opponents in 30 games last year.  Nebraska has held opponents to 20 or fewer points in a half eight times this season. Of those eight occurrences, five have been in the first period.  Nebraska's rally from 15 points down at halftime against Oklahoma was amazing, but had the Huskers pulled out the win, it would not have been the largest second-half rally in school history. NU's rally from 18 points down vs. Kansas State in 1996-97 is the biggest halftime comeback since boxscores were included the NU record books (1972-73).  Nebraska returned its most experienced lineup this season, and it's starting to show in the statistics. With John Turek's 10 points against Texas, he became the fifth Husker to cross the 500-point plateau this season, joining Nate Johnson, Andrew Drevo, Brian Conklin and Jake Muhleisen.  Four of NU's seven losses have been decided by eight points or less, while 11 of its victories have been decided by 15 or more points.  The Huskers are 10-2 when outrebounding their opponent this season, and a perfect 14-0 when leading with five minutes left in the contest.
