This past year, our definition of community expanded: our conference, held in Vancouver, affirmed our commitment to all of North America, while our growing partnership with Opera Europa continued to bridge the continents through our shared dedication to an art form that knows no borders. Most profoundly, however, the opening of the National Opera Center in New York has created a new center for our community, a tangible space where individual and company members can gather for auditions, recitals and professional learning programs.
