During the meeting Dr Palitha Mahipala highlighted the importance of implementation of targeted Public Health measures, strengthening surveillance and risk communication during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Dr Palitha handed over 6 vehicles and 1 mini ambulance to Chief Minister Sindh for strengthening surveillance in the province. The Chief Minister Sindh appreciated the role of WHO Dr Palitha Mahipala (2nd Left) WHO Country Representative, Pakistan H.E Pakistan, under the dynamic leadership of Dr Palitha. The Syed Murad Ali Shah (2nd Right), Chief Minister Sindh, H.E Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho (1st Right) and Provincial Health and Population Welfare Minster, Dr CM paid glowing tribute to Dr Palitha for providing round Sara Salman (1st Left) Head of WHO sub office Sindh during handing over of the clock support to Government of Pakistan.
