Health Department Update:  The CDC recently updated recommendations for fully vaccinated people – updates can be found https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated- guidance.html  Approximately 50% of all South Milwaukee residents (11% under 18 years) and 55% of all St. Francis residents (15% under 18 years) are vaccinated with at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine.  The Milwaukee County key indicators updated 08/05/2021 are: GREEN for Care RED for Cases, Test Positivity, and Vaccination  Attached is the Milwaukee County Weekly Epi Report, and Kids Report. Data was not available for the Vaccination Report. Overall findings for this week include: -1,644 overall cases for the most recent 7-day period, 7/28-8/3, an 18-fold increase from four weeks earlier. [Recall for past four weeks, most recent week listed first, was 971, 378, 209, and 89 cases respectively for the week prior to the report.]

-301 cases among kids under 18 years in the most recent 7-day period, 7/28-8/3, a nearly 14- fold increase from four weeks earlier. [Recall for past four weeks, most recent week listed first, was 194, 82, 45, 22 cases respectively for the week prior to the report.]
