Mark Lucas OPERATIONS REPORT Programme and Events Manager

The last 12 months has seen an enormous amount of work go in to ensuring that we are compliant with the new Health and Safety legislation that came into effect on 1 April 2016.

All policies and procedures have been thoroughly reviewed and we are pleased to report we have had positive feedback from ACC during their audit.

Over the last year public relations and customer service has improved vastly due to the appointing of a Reception Supervisor. Furthermore a new post of Functions Coordinator has been created to provide a professional service to our growing conference clientele. The highlight was catering for 500 guests attending a wedding that was held on the infield.

The Perry Playground has been a welcome asset to the Avantidrome. It gives our younger user groups the opportunity to be part of this world class facility.

Our aim for the forthcoming year is to carry on providing a safe and enjoyable facility to our community and high performance users.
