Long-live perennial, clumping to 2 ft by 2 ft in rich, moist soil in a half shady spot– think woodland. Great for a border that gets some water, but not much attention otherwise. Hardy to 25 below. 6in @ $12 Boraginaceae Physocarpus opulifolius 'Dart's Gold' golden ninebark Its golden foliage highlights the pure white, fragrant, summer flowers and brilliant red fruit in autumn. Description Description The bulbs are made up of a number of thick, fleshy, cream-coloured, overlapping, truncated bulb scales, arranged like a fan, with perennial fleshy roots. They are 5-27 mm wide, shiny green with reddish barred markings towards the base, especially on the lower surface. Under natural conditions the flowering time is from February to March and the leaves usually appear after the flowers from May to December. -
