[1] The elections took place at one stage, but voting in one constituency in Ramgarh was delayed until January due to the death of the Bahujan Samaj Party candidate. In 2018, india's National Congress became the largest party and Rashtriya Loktantrik became the third largest party in the country. In the last election in 2013, the BJP had won a majority. Background Rajasthan Assembly term expired on 20 January 2019. [3] The main fight is between the BJP and INC and the RLP. However, AAP and BSP are also contesting together several other parties. Many high-profile leaders, including a sitting MLA, MP and former ministers of the BJP, have joined INC ahead of the election. Some leaders of INC have also joined the BJP. The date of the elections was 7.12.2018 and the result was announced on 11.12.2018.
