Welcome

Welcome to another great season of shows to take through the autumn of 2015. The force is with us in September when 's premier Star Wars Club, The Emerald Garrison, is here for a weekend of fantastic celebrations and photo opportunities in INVASION with guest stars and iconic characters. This is in our venue as part of CULTURETECH, the festival of digital technology, media and music which attracts speakers and visitors from across the world. Drama plays a big part in our programme beginning with THE MATCHMAKER, by John B. Keane, one of Ireland's most celebrated writers. SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE RIPPER MURDERS débuts here in October with a host of stars from stage and screen. This show has been garnering terrific reviews on tour. The acclaimed London Classic Theatre Company also brings us Samuel Beckett's WAITING FOR GODOT in October.

There is a wide range of music this season from renowned Irish troubadour PAUL BRADY in October and legendary singer-songwriter ALBERT HAMMOND in the same month. THE WATERBOYS make their much anticipated return following the release of their brand new album, Modern Blues. FRANCES BLACK joins us in November and will be on stage later in the same month. One of the world's most prominent tenors RUSSELL WATSON, who has sold in excess of seven million albums worldwide, débuts at our venue in November. NATHAN CARTER is back for all his Derry fans in December as are THE while THE PRIESTS are set to give us a warm Christmas rendition of much loved seasonal classics. We have two enjoyable musicals this season with MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL starring X Factor's winner Mary Byrne, Euro-vision winner and Linda Nolan. Millennium Forum Production's spectacular local festive feel- good musical, Irving Berlin's White Christmas will herald the beginning of the Christmas season. Added to this is our seasonal ballet, the magical SWAN LAKE from Moscow Ballet while international multi-award winning singer takes to the stage for his first major acting role in the brand new original drama/musical PADDY. A huge hit with the families in our city and much farther afield, our pantomime ALADDIN opens in December for a five week run, Starring William Caulfield as Widow Twankey, don't miss your chance to get tickets to this fabulous show. From the creative team behind Brainiac Live, World Records Officially Amazing Science Live and a whole load of other educational shows with an anarchic twist.

The Foyle School of Speech and Drama has worked with children and young people in the City for over 25 years. In that time pupils have secured lead roles on the West End stage, film and television. The pupils finish up the year with an eclectic mix of the traditional Nativity stories, fairy tales and Panto sketches with not an adult in sight! A family night of fun and drama and an opportunity to see the stars of tomorrow.

The Millennium Forum would strongly advise all patrons to allow sufficient time for parking, especially at peak times, as latecomers will not be admitted to performances until a suitable break. Cast may be subject to change.

BOOKING: Bookings can be made in person, by post or by telephone. Call our Box Office on 028 (048 from ROI) 7126 4455. Book online by visiting our website at www.millenniumforum.co.uk. Once tickets are issued they cannot be exchanged or refunded. Box Office Opening Hours: Monday – Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm Sunday: Closed | Open one hour before performance. PAYMENT: Payment can be made by cash, cheque (guarantee card required) and any major credit/debit card (no service charge). When collecting pre-paid tickets at the Box Office, proof of identification is required. A payment fee of £1.50 is payable when using a credit card when buying tickets online.

PHONE BOOKINGS: Tickets must be collected within three working days of booking otherwise they may be resold unless payment has been received. Tickets can be posted but an administrative charge of £1.00 will apply. Alternatively, they can be held at box office for collection on the evening – there is no charge for this service. Calls may be monitored for training purposes.

POSTAL BOOKINGS: The appropriate remittance and a stamped addressed envelop must accompany all postal bookings. Please write your name, address and telephone number on the reverse of your cheque. Cheques should be made payable to the Millennium Forum. Tickets may be held at the box office if required and collected on the evening of the performance (valid ID will be required).

THEATRE GIFT VOUCHERS: Treat your loved ones to a theatre gift voucher. Details available from box office. The ideal gift.

GROUP BOOKINGS: For many performances a discount is offered for party bookings and school groups. Please ask at the Box Office for more information.

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available for most of our performances to senior citizens, Children under 16, Students (valid ID required), and the unemployed (valid ID required). For Selected performances a discounted ticket is now available for personal assistants/companions for people with disabilities.

BABES IN ARMS: For selected children's performances only, all children under one year old may go free. However all patrons must be in possession of a valid ticket. Please ask at the Box Office for Further Details.

BOOSTER SEATS: Booster seats for small children over one year old are now available for all performances. Please ask at the Box Office for further details.

STROBE LIGHTING & SMOKE EFFECTS: Some performances may use special effects such as strobe lighting and smoke effects. If such effects are to be used, notices will be placed at the doors of the auditorium. Contact Box Office in advance for further information.

LATECOMERS: Shows start on time, please do not be late. Latecomers will only be admitted if there is a suitable break in the performance, which may not be until the interval. Please Note that this rule is strictly enforced.

AUDITORIUM: Cameras, tape recorders and video cameras are not permitted in the Auditorium without the expressed permission of the Millennium Forum Management. All mobile Phones must be switched off. Glass, hot food or drinks are not permitted in the auditorium at any time.

SUPPORT ACTS: If information on support acts is available the Millennium Forum Management will inform customers of these in advance but on occasions this may not be possible.

DEVELOPMENT DONATION: The Development Donation is your chance to contribute to the future of the Millennium Forum to invest in our future development. Every ticket purchased for a show is subject to a small premium of £1.00.

COURTESY WHEELCHAIR: The Millennium Forum has a courtesy wheelchair that can be used if required for customers.

CAR PARKING: Foyle side car park is open until 11:30pm Wednesday – Saturday for theatre goers. There is a number of other car parking facilities in the City centre, within a five minute walk from the Forum, such as Whittaker Street car park (Just behind Foyle Street and next to the Foyle Street Bus Station, Queen's Quay Car Park, Foyle Road, Foyle Valley Railway Museum, Bishop Street Car Park. In total, there are in excess of 2500 off-street car parking spaces in the City centre.

SEASON BROCHURE: Large print and Braille versions of our season brochure are available upon request.

DRINKS IN AUDITORIUM: For selected shows, interval drinks may be brought into the auditorium in plastic glasses.

The Auditorium offers wheel chair places and a wire induction loop for hearing aid users.
