MARGAM. 503 The Margam Tin-plate Works of Messrs. Robert Byasa and Oo. al'e situated in this parish, although adjoining the Town of Aberavon. Here tin and terne plates are manufactured, and are well known for the superiority of their make. There is a chapel of ease belonging to Margam parish church, and chapels for Baptists, Independents, and Calvinistic Methodists. Service is held at the school-room, Bryn, in connectio~~t with Oakwood Chapel, once on Sundays. There is a very large school, supported by Messrs. Vivian and Sons.
