The Rochester Sentinel 1995 Tuesday, January 3, 1995 Mary Alice Forst May 3, 1924 - Dec. 30, 1994 Mary Alice FORST, 70, Route 1, Box 84 A, Roann, died at 1:58 p.m. Friday at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, where she had been hospitalized since Dec. 19. She was born in Miami County to Jesse W. and Blanche SEIDNER BARNHISEL. On Sept. 1, 1956 in Huntington County she married Carl J. FORST, who died Aug. 26, 1989. She retired from Eaton Corporation (formerly Singer Controls) in North Manchester and was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Sandra DENTON, Roann, and two grandsons, Josh and Jeremy DENTON, Roann. Preceding in death was a brother, Doine BARNHISEL. Services were to have been at 10 a.m. Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Richard FOX officiating. Burial was to have been in the Gaerte Cemetery, Macy [northeast of Gilead]. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Delbert R. Good Jan. 7, 1920 - Jan. 2, 1995 Delbert R. “Zeke” GOOD, 74, of 208 North Troutman St., Kewanna died at 11:57 a.m. Monday at community Hospital, East, Indianapolis. He was born in Rochester to John Wesley and Mona Gail GAILBREATH GOOD. On May 5, 1940 in Kewanna he married Geraldine J. “Ginger” HAMMAN who died Dec. 26, 1989. He was a retired carpenter and life member of the Jim Talbott VFW Post 1121, Kewanna. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. Surviving are three sons, L. Joe [GOOD], Kewanna; Dick [GOOD], Logansport, and John H. [GOOD], Star City; four sisters, Leona TAYLOR, Ida Mae OVERMYER and Patsy BRYANT, all of Plymouth, and Donna SUMMERS, Rochester; six grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceding in death was a brother and a sister. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna, with the Rev. Denise DAVAULT officiating. Burial will be at the Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna. Graveside military services will be held. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Kewanna United Methodist Church. Charles M. Amones Charles M. AMONES, 79, of Avon Park, Fla., died Friday at Walker Memorial Medical Center. He was a Marshall County native who lived in Plymouth until he moved to Florida in 1977. He was a Methodist and life member of the Plymouth VFW. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II. He retired from the U.S. Poss Office after 20 years of service. He was married to Bernice Irene RANNALLS, who died Jan. 6, 1994. Surviving are one step-daughter, Donna DAWSON, South Bend; one brother, Harold [AMONES], Bixby, Okla. four sisters, Margaret AMES, Plymouth; Beatrice ANDERS, Plymouth; Mildred SHIVELY, Avon Park, Fla., and Geraldine ZIMMERMAN, Plymouth. Fountain Funeral Home, 507 U.S. 27 North, Avon Park, Fla., 33825, is in charge of arrangements. C. Ferrell Brown June 9, 1905 - Dec. 30, 1994 C. Ferrell BROWN, 89, of 624 East 13th St., Winamac, died at 9:38 p.m. Friday at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac. She was born in Buffalo to Anthony and Robina BURRIS FREEMAN. On Jan. 2, 1924 in Winamac she married Harry BROWN, who died Aug. 10, 1989. She lived in Winamac most of her life and was a member of Ripley Gospel Chapel. Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis POWNALL, Rochester, and Lula LAUDER, Oxford, Mich.; three sons, Harold [BROWN], Kwqnn; Richard R. [BROWN], Winamac, and Leonard [BROWN], Mentone; twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding in death was a son, four sisters and four brothers. Services were to have been at 1 p.m. Monday at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with the Rev. John LAUDER officiating. Burial was to have been in McKinley Memorial Gardens, Winamac. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Pulaski Health Care Center. Ruby L. Wildermuth April 17, 1918 - Jan. 2, 1995 Ruby L. WILDERMUTH, 76, of P.O. Box 54, Fulton, died at 6:44 p.m. Monday at 2123 Westgate Drive. She was born in Fulton County to William Sherman and Bessie EYTCHESON REED. In 1990 she retired from General Tire after working there for 37 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Judy K. McDONALD, Logansport; one ons, Robert J. WILDERMUTH, Logansport; two sisters, Mildred DICE, Fulton, and Betty KERBY, Frankfort; one brother, Don REED, Fulton; four grandchildren, David RUCH, Eric WILDERMUTH, Chris WILDERMUTH ARMSTRONG and Kim McDONALD, and one great-grandchild, Brock ARMSTRONG. Preceding in death was a son and a sister. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, with the Rev. John WEEKS officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Victor M. Willy Sr. Feb. 20, 1902 - Jan. 3, 1995 Victor M. WILLY Sr., 92, of Rt. 6, Logansport, died at 6 a.m. today at his residence. He was born in Cass County to Ignace and Mary GEIR WILLY. On Feb. 26, 1927 in Logansport he marrid Ethel M. CUNNINGHAM who died Dec. 15, 1990. He was a retired farmer and member of All Saints Catholic Church, Logansport. He served in the U.S. Army in Panama. Surviving are three daughters, Helen L. WILSON, Logansport; Doris WISE, Logansport, and Nada HERROLD, Kewanna; two sons, Victor M. [WILLY], Jr., Logansport, and Elton G. [WILLY], Klamath Falls, Ore.; one sister, Frances TUSSING, Logansport; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren. Preceding in death was one grandson, four sisters and three brothers. Services at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Royal Center, are pending. Geraldine Freeman Geraldine SWIHART FREEMAN, 58, of Denver, died Monday evening at Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus. Arrangements are pending at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. Wednesday, January 4, 1995 Victor M. Willy Sr. Feb. 20, 1902 - Jan. 3, 1995 Services for Victor M. WILLY Sr., 92, of Rt. 6, Logansport, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at All Saints Catholic Church, Logansport, with Father Donald GROSS officiating. Burial will be at the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Harrison-Metzger Funeral, Royal Center. A scxripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Preceding in death was one grandson, three brothers and four sisters. L. Gardiner Miller March 24, 1911 - Oct. 17, 1994 Wordd has been received of the death of L. Gardiner MILLER, 83, of Ludington, Mich. he died Oct. 17 [1994] following an extended illness. Mr. Miller was born March 24, 1911, in Kentland. He was married to Alice A. TROST on July 28, 1934, in Michigan City. She died July 16, 1991. He retired in 1979 as a machinist and typesetter for the Ludington Daily News. He also had worked at The Rochester Sentinel. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Dalice) HERTZBERG, Lakewood, Colo. Keila Marie Teetz Aug. 31, 1989 - Jan. 3, 1995 Keila Marie TEETZ, 5, of 10013 West 16th Road, Argos, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home following an illness. She was born in Plymouth to Harold William and Rebecca Marie DUFF TEETZ Jr. She lived her entire life in Argos and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos. Surviving with her parents are one sister, Tomica Rennehe TEETZ, Argos; one brother, William Vance TEETZ, Aros; maternal grandparents, Donald DUFF, Warsaw, and Donald and Mary TIPTON, Bloomfield, N.M.; paternal grandparents, Jacqueline GEORGEN, Warren, Ohio; Letha TRIGG, Michigan City, and the Rev. Lloyd and Mrs. Phyllis HOWARD, Argos. Preceding in death was a grandfather, Harold TEETZ Sr. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at th Church of Jesus Christ with the Rev. Lloyd HOWARD officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, and one hour before services Friday at the church. Allie J. Clemons Aug. 4, 1913 - Jan. 4, 1995 Allie J. CLEMONS, 81, of Rt. 1, Macy, died at 5:10 a.m. today in her home. She was born in Dekalb County, Tenn., to Harvey and Ida STARNS HALE. On Jan. 1, 1934 at Smithville, Tenn., she married Coy Lee CLEMONS who died Jan. 1, 1965. She retired from W.C. Redmon and Sons Inc., Peru, and attended the Deedsville United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara MIKESELL, Rochester, and Reba GARRISON, Peru; three sons, Robert [CLEMONS], Richmond, Va.; Carl Dee [CLEMONS], Syracuse, and Bobby Joe [CLEMONS], Macy; two sisters, Willie Lee MOSS and Jewel PETERSON, both of Cookeville, Tenn.; fourteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, twenty-one great- grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.
