Highlighted by The Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1), which will award the eighth automatic starting berth into the Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1), Belmont brings to a close a series that, all told, awarded 81 automatic starting berths into racing’s World Championships scheduled for Nov. 6-7 at Keeneland in Lexington, KY.
