Programa Vs. Crusaders bienvenidos Queremos que tengan todos quiénes nos visitan una cordial bienvenida a nues- tro país, para jugar contra Jaguares, que afrontan su tercera temporada en el Personal Super Rugby. Para todos quienes conformamos la UAR es muy estimulante y representa también una gran responsabilidad participar en este certamen, que tiene el rugby de mayor nivel que hoy existe y se juega en el mundo.Tenemos la posibili- dad de ver en cancha a los mejores jugadores del Hemisferio Sur. Esta es la oportunidad que nos brinda este certamen. Y podemos verlos desde febrero a junio, tanto acá como en el exterior. La participación de los jugadores más destacados de Nueva Zelanda, Sudáfrica y Australia le da brillo y renombre. Son los jugadores que forman a los All Blacks, Springboks, Wallabies y Los Pumas y que también nos visitan en el Personal Rugby Championship.Como miembros plenos de Sanzaar, tenemos por tercera vez la posibilidad de disfrutar del Personal Super Rugby que además, es no sólo ver el mejor rugby sino un espec- táculo deportivo de enorme prestigio y que encarna a lo más granado de nuestro deporte. Todo el rugby nacional, representa- do por nuestras 25 uniones y sus clubes, los dirigentes amateurs y los miembros profesio- nales de la UAR, trabajamos todos, todo el tiempo, para que el rugby argentino dé pasos hacia adelante, siempre en pos de mejorar la cantidad y calidad de los torneos, de los entrenadores y jugadores y de todos los actores que conforman la gran familia de nuestro rugby. Estamos convencidos que el trabajo a conciencia que se lleva a cabo desde el comienzo mismo de la competición dará sus frutos y repercutirá positivamente en todo el rugby argentino. Estos partidos en el estadio de Vélez Sarsfield nos permiten, a los fanáticos del rugby y a los que recién comienzan a acercarse a nuestro deporte, disfrutar de un evento de clase mundial no sólo por lo que hay y se expresa dentro de la cancha, si no también fuera. Acompañar a Jaguares en el tránsito de esta valiosa experiencia forma parte del profesionalismo que desde el Board, acompañados por la Mesa Ejecutiva y el Consejo Directivo de la UAR, pretendemos para toda las estructuras que sostienen y permiten el desarrollo del rugby argentino de base, que es el gran objetivo por el que todos unidos trabajamos día a día. Esto, que hoy se ha convertido en una sana costumbre que se vive hasta con cierta naturalidad, hace no muchos años atrás era algo impensado y hasta utópico no sólo para el jugador argentino, sino para el público. Hoy, con inmensa alegría, tenemos por tercera vez la posibilidad de disfrutar de este rugby que es además, el espectáculo deportivo de mayor envergadura, calidad y reconocimiento internacional que tiene nuestro país.
