On Saturday 6th April, the Parents Association will hold a Sponsored Walk / Community Fun Run in the fabulous grounds of the Moyvalley Hotel resort. Sponsorship cards can be dropped into the school office or brought along on the day of the run/walk. This was a very successful event last year and is a great family day with raffle prizes on offer. The pupils have each got a sponsorship card and we would appreciate your support as money raised will go towards improving our sound system in the school. A huge thank you to the PA for organising this wonderful event. It is great to see this simple initiative taking place enabling the community to come together for fitness and socialising. Well done to all the participants!

New Chairperson in September September marks the end of Ruth Duggan’s tenure as Chairperson of the PA, so there will be an election of a new Chairperson at the AGM which will take place in mid-September. Ruth has given freely of her time during her tenure and has overseen the beginnings of some novel fundraising ideas and activities for parents and the community such as, Operation Transformation and Coin Wars. We all send a huge thank you to her and we know that she will be remaining as part of the committee to help in any way she can.
