Its members come from all walks of life and many different backgrounds. Conducted by Dr. Gerald Lanoue, the orchestra plays a wide range of light classical and pops repertoire. The MCO is dedicated to bringing the excitement of live orchestral music to audiences of all ages and economic back- grounds, and enthusiastically plays ven- ues throughout the greater Capital Re- gion, ranging from traditional concert halls to public parks, community events, schools, retirement centers and nursing homes.
