Sixteen species have additional distribution records since their description. Keywords: Cerambycidae, Doliops, new record, Philippines, Taiwan Introduction The genus Doliops Waterhouse, 1841 (Cerambycidae) has been intensively studied in the recent years (Barševskis 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018; Barševskis & Jaeger 2014; Cabras & Barsevskis, 2015; Yoshitake & Yamasako, 2016; Cabras & Medina, 2019; Barsevskis & Cabras, 2019). Species are associated with forested habitats and due to intensive deforestation, they are listed as Threatened in the National List of Threatened Philippine Fauna (DENR-Dao, 2017). However, scientists and foresters lack basic information on their distributions, leading to difficulty in formulating successful conservation action plans for these endangered taxa. Doliops are sometimes quite rare with several species known only from the type specimen. Doliops Waterhouse 1841 is endemic to the Philippines and Taiwan and represented by 66 species of which 65 are known from the Philippines. Sixteen (16) species are only known from the type specimen distributed in various museums in Europe, Philippines, Japan and Taiwan. The aim of this paper is to provide new distributional records for 40 species of Doliops and 16 new records since their description. Materials and Methods The present study is based on 426 specimens deposited in the collection of Daugavpils University, Institute of Life Sciences and Technology, Coleopterological Research Centre (DUBC), University of Mindanao Coleoptera Research Center, Davao City, Philippines (UMCRC) and We-I Chou Private Collection, Taitung County, Taiwan (WCPC). Specimens at DUBC and WCPC were collected by trusted insect collectors while specimens at UMCRC were collected through netting by the second author. 3 Received: 11 Nov. 2019, accepted: 14 Feb. 2020, published: 03 Apr. 2020 J o u r. Remarks: Vives (2005) mentioned that this species is one among the most common Doliops found in majority of the islands in the Philippines archipelago (Luzon, Samar, Masbate Islands, and Mindanao Island). This species is highly variable with regards to the number and shape of elytral markings being easily mistaken for D. duodecimpunctata Heller, 1923. Barševskis (2013) agrees with Vives (2005) and recorded this species from Luzon, Masbate, Mindanao and Samar 5 Received: 11 Nov. 2019, accepted: 14 Feb. 2020, published: 03 Apr. 2020 J o u r.
