Chicago veteran musicians, brothers Mark and Matt Nawara, and Mike Gorman, along with Phoenix, Arizona’s, Andy Mitchell have formed The Outfit. The Outfit brings you straight up rock and roll, with catchy hooks and an aggressive sound. The Nawara brothers played the Chicago club scene for years, along with writing and recording original music. Mike Gorman comes from two legendary Chicago bands, Pezband and Off Broadway. Rounding out the lineup is singer/songwriter and guitarist Andy Mitchell, whose past bands included Dish, Verona and 9 Volt. The Outfit released their first self-titled album on February 2, 2018. It was engineered by Chicago music veteran Matt Mercado at Sonic Palace Studios in Oak Park, Illinois. Mixing was handled in Los Angeles by Grammy nominated, multi-platinum producer and mixer Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static-x, White Zombie, Deftones, and Breaking Benjamin). Ultimately, the band wants to bring the rock scene back to basics with an edge. "Wire" will surely follow the success of the album's lead single, "Soldier Boy," which currently has over 17,000 streams on Spotify and has been receiving airplay all over Rock Radio stations. The single peaked at number 34 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Radio Chart. “Soldier Boy” Video - https://youtu.be/srtVRPPekdU “Wire” Video - https://youtu.be/2TUOSSVftds Official Website: http://theoutfit.rocks/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheOutfitrock/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theoutfitrock/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/theoutfitrock iTunes: goo.gl/z5EUcH Amazon: goo.gl/ZFgL98 .

  • Deftones Discography and Songlist
deftones discography and songlist I’ve been a Deftones fanatic for years now. A recordstore in Amsterdam was selling ‘Adrenaline’ after it just came out and were promoting it by putting a small handwritten sticker on the cover saying ‘For fans of Helmet’. Maybe I have to be thankfull to the person who put the sticker on it, cuz it made me buy it and ever since that moment I’ve been hooked on Deftones and everything about them. After a few cancellations in 1996 the band finally did their first European Tour in 1997, also the first time I saw them live. That even proved me more that this band was something special and from that moment on I bought every t-shirt and every item which had to do with the band. In 1999 me and my long-time buddy Thijz, a Deftones fan also, build a website (www.dutchdeftones.com R.I.P.) to expose all the stuff we knew and own about the band and share it with other fans. Other fans could send in photo’s and information to make the site a great source for more fans. By that time another great fansite was born called www.deftonesworld.com. That website is still alive and is maintained by my Portugese pal Nuno Rolinho. Also de fansite is still famous for being the best website/source for Deftonesfans out there. I will be honest to say that I thought that the power and energy, the first Deftones live performances where famous for, died a little round 2001 but still, on recordings Deftones remained an outstanding, fresh band, re-inveniting themselves all the time.
