Frost nursed a sore back throughout the year and missed four games due to the injury, but he played and started in the last 18 games. Olsen (6-0, 182) appeared in all 33 games, averaging 13.9 minutes of playing time. He averaged 2.4 points and 1.6 assists per game, and shot 40.0 percent from three-point range (20-for-50).

Utes Heading To Great Alaska Shootout Utah will play in the 2004 Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout. The 27th annual tournament, host- ed by Alaska-Anchorage, takes place Nov. 24-27. Joining the Utes in the tournament field are: Alabama, Alaska Anchorage, Furman, High Point, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Washington. Alabama (20-13) and Washington (19-12) were both in the 2004 NCAA Tournament field, with the Crimson Tide making it to the Elite Eight. Oklahoma (20-11) advanced to the second round of the NIT last season. Utah plays Washington in the first round on Nov. 25 at 8:00 p.m. (MST) on ESPN2. The Runnin’ Utes will face either Oklahoma or High Point in the second round. If that match-up is a winners’ bracket semifi- nal game, it will be on Nov. 26 at 10:00 p.m. (MST) on ESPN2. The championship game is Nov. 27 at 8:00 p.m. (MST) on ESPN2. The Utes have played in the Great Alaska Shootout once before.
