MISS USA 2011 ALYSSA CAMPANELLA IS PUT TO THE TEST ON “RACHAEL VS GUY CELEBRITY COOK-OFF”

SUNDAY, JANUARY 1, 2012 AT 9 PM ET ON FOOD NETWORK

NEW YORK, NY, December 21, 2011 – Miss USA Alyssa Campanella takes her passion for cooking and puts it to the test on the Food Network’s new culinary competition series, “Rachael vs Guy Celebrity Cook-off”, which debuts on Sunday, January 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In this six- episode series, Rachael and Guy will serve as coaches to the eight celebrities who will be split up into two teams: Team Rachael and Team Guy. Each episode features celebrity contestants battling it out in a fun, fast-paced culinary fight-to-the-finish, with the two bottom-rated contestants from the losing team going head-to-head in a blind tasting elimination challenge.

This cooking, however, is all for a good cause. In the end, the last contestant standing is crowned king or queen of the Celebrity Cook-Off and wins $50,000 for the charity they are playing to support.

Joining Campanella are celebrities Summer Sanders (Two-time Olympic gold medalist and national sportscaster), Lou Diamond Phillips (Golden Globe®-nominated actor, Stand and Deliver), Aaron Carter (Multi-platinum-selling recording artist and actor, Popstar and Supercross), Joey Fatone (Singer, actor, television personality and founding member of top- selling supergroup ‘N Sync), Taylor Dayne (Chart-topping recording star and actress, Broadway’s “Aida” and Television’s “Nightman”), Coolio (Grammy®-winning hip-hop artist and Cheech Marin (Grammy-winning comedian, screenwriter and actor).
