President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, first lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva visited Bakutel 2017, the 23rd Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Con­ ference on Telecommunications and Information Technologies at Baku Expo Center. Azerbaijan`s Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade informed President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva of the exhibition. President Ilham Aliyev, first lady Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice­President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva viewed pavilions of the exhibition. President Ilham Aliyev answered questions of Euronews and Russia­24 channels as he toured Bakutel 2017.

2 3 The 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference, Bakutel 2017 opened at Baku Expo Centre on the 5th of De- cember, which marked the beginning of High Technologies Week. This year’s Bakutel has gathered 192 companies from 20 countries worldwide and has become the main business platform for international business contacts. The press conference was attended by Elmir Velizade, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan Republic, Mr Edvard Strachan, Director of Caspian Event Organisers and Emili­ ya Ismayilova, Project Manager.
