A Great Look into Making a Successful Tour BandBy CustomerThis book is a great look into the odd combination of factors that happened as the stars aligned in just the right time to make the Dave Matthews Band. It did indeed take a lot of talent and even more hard work and personal sacrifice to get to where they are today. I enjoyed reading about the different band members backgrounds and families. I learned about how one should not trust lawyers, even those that are close friends, when success comes your way. I learned about the loving, religious background that influences the lyrics and sound of the band, and the history of touring that built them into a multi-million dollar act. I will probably read this book again in a year or two to see how my perspective of this band changes after their new album Away From the World is released. This book is very well written, and the author has taken a complex subject and made it easier to understand.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
