Notice Classification of Wild Trout Streams Proposed Additions to List April 2013 Notice Classification of Wild Trout Streams Proposed Additions to List April 2013 Under 58 Pa. Code §57.11 (relating to listing of wild trout streams), it is the policy of the Fish and Boat Commission (Commission) to accurately identify and classify stream sections supporting naturally reproducing populations of trout as wild trout streams. The Commission’s Fisheries Management Division maintains the list of wild trout streams. The Executive Director, with the approval of the Commission, will from time-to-time publish the list of wild trout streams in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. The listing of a stream section as a wild trout stream is a biological designation that does not determine how it is managed. The Commission relies upon many factors in determining the appropriate management of streams. At the next Commission meeting on April 15 and 16, 2013, the Commission will consider changes to its list of wild trout streams. Specifically, the Commission will consider the addition of the following streams or portions of streams to the list: County Stream Name Tributary To Section Limits Bedford Big Break Hollow Wallacks Branch Headwaters to mouth Bedford Ciana Run Rhodes Run Headwaters to mouth Bedford Deep Hollow Run Pavia Run Headwaters to mouth Headwaters to the confluence with Deep Bedford Pavia Run Bobs Creek Hollow Run Raystown Branch Bedford Sugar Camp Run Juniata River Headwaters to mouth Blair Diamond Run Bobs Creek Headwaters to mouth Bucks Cuttalossa Creek Delaware River Headwaters to mouth Carbon Fireline Creek Lehigh River Headwaters to mouth East Branch Mahoning Clearfield Beaver Run Creek Headwaters to mouth North Branch Witmer Clearfield Comfort Run Run Headwaters to mouth North Branch Witmer Clearfield Holes Run Run Headwaters to mouth North Branch Witmer Clearfield Hunter Run Run Headwaters to mouth County Stream Name Tributary To Section Limits North Branch Witmer Clearfield Raccoon Run Run Headwaters to mouth North Branch Witmer Clearfield Strong Run Run Headwaters to mouth East Branch Clarion Elk County Line Run River Headwaters to mouth East Branch Clarion Elk Fivemile Run River Headwaters to mouth Forest Bates Run Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Forest Indian Camp Run Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Forest Jones Run Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Huntingdon McLain Run Little Juniata River Headwaters to mouth UNT to Abrahams Creek Headwaters to Shoemaker Luzerne (West Wyoming) Abrahams Creek Avenue Lycoming Dry Run Plunketts Creek Headwaters to mouth East Branch Clarion McKean Buck Run River Headwaters to mouth McKean Doe Run County Line Run Headwaters to mouth East Branch Clarion McKean Gum Boot Run River Headwaters to mouth East Branch Clarion McKean Smith Run River Headwaters to mouth Schuylkill Brushy Run Little Schuylkill River Headwaters to mouth West Branch Schuylkill Panther Creek Schuylkill River Headwaters to mouth Somerset Dalton Run Bens Creek Headwaters to mouth Sullivan Lick Creek (Cherry Mills) Little Loyalsock Creek Headwaters to mouth Sullivan Mill Creek (Millview) Little Loyalsock Creek Headwaters to mouth Sullivan Rock Run Little Loyalsock Creek Headwaters to mouth Sullivan Trout Run Little Loyalsock Creek Headwaters to mouth Sullivan Yellow Run Little Loyalsock Creek Headwaters to mouth Warren Bully Hollow Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Warren Dennis Run Gordon Run Headwaters to mouth Warren Lenhart Run Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Warren Little Run Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Warren Pennsylvania Hollow Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Warren Snow Run Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth UNT to Allegheny River Warren (RM 178.64) Allegheny River Headwaters to mouth Headwaters downstream to the inflow of Brace Brook Wayne Brace Brook Lackawanna River Reservoir Persons with comments, objections or suggestions concerning the classification of the streams listed may submit them in writing to Executive Director, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, P.O.
