Abstract: Fauna of Ichneumonidae of Isfahan province was studied in 2012. Specimens were collected using sweep net and Malaise trap on various plants from different places in Isfahan. Totally, 18 species belong to 16 genera and 7 subfamilies were collected and identified as: Anomalon cruentatum (Geoffroy, 1785) (Anomaloninae); Exetastes syriacus Schmiedeknecht, 1910 (Banchinae); Diplazon laetatorius (Fabricius, 1781), Enizemum ornatum (Gravenhorst, 1829), Homotropus nigritarsus (Gravenhorst, 1829), Homotropus signatus (Gravenhorst, 1829), Promethes sulcator (Gravenhorst, 1829) and Syrphophilus bizonarius (Gravenhorst, 1829) (Diplazontinae); Anisobas cingulatellus Horstmann, 1997, Diadromus collaris (Gravenhorst, 1829), Heterischnus filiformis (Gravenhorst, 1829) and Spilothyrateles nuptatorius (Fabricius, 1793) (Ichneumoninae); Exochus castaniventris Brauns, 1896 (Metopiinae); Itoplectis alternans (Gravenhorst, 1829), Itoplectis tunetana (Schmiedeknecht, 1914), Pimpla spuria Gravenhorst, 1829 and Zaglyptus multicolor (Gravenhorst, 1829) (Pimplinae) and Aneuclis incidens (Thomson, 1889) (Tersilochinae). Five genera with nine species are found to occur in Israel: Aneuclis brevicauda (Thomson), A. incidens (Thom- son), Diaparsis gerlingi n. sp., D. nitida Horstmann, D. frontella (Holmgren), Ge lanes clavulatus Khalaim & Blank, G. simillimus Horstmann, Palpator turpi- lucricupidus Khalaim and Phradis interstitialis (Thomson). Two more genera, Prob les Förster and Tersilochus Holmgren, are formally recorded here from Is- rael but excluded from the present paper and will be treated separately. INTRODUCTION Tersilochinae is a moderately large subfamily of ichneumonid wasps of world- wide distribution. It comprises approximately 500 described species, with 190 spe- cies in 13 genera known to occur in Europe (Yu et al. 2016; Khalaim & Várkonyi 2018). Most host records of Tersilochinae are from larvae of Coleoptera, mostly of the families Curculionidae, Chrysomelidae and Nitidulidae, but some tersi lochines are known as parasitoids of xyelid sawflies (Hymenoptera: Xyelidae) in staminate pine cones, gall-forming Pontania spp. (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) and leaf- mining Eriocraniidae (Lepidoptera) (Yu et al. 2016; Khalaim & Várkonyi 2018). Virtually nothing was known about the Tersilochinae of Israel before commen - cement of this study. -

Turk J Zool 25 (2001) 41-52 © T†BÜTAK A Study of the Ecofaunal Complexes of the Leaf-Eating Beetles (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) in Azerbaijan Nailya MIRZOEVA Institute of Zoology, Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, pr. 1128, kv. 504, Baku 370073-AZERBAIJAN Received: 01.10.1999 Abstract: A total of 377 leaf-eating beetle species from 69 genera and 11 subfamilies (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) were revealed in Azerbaijan, some of which are important pests of agriculture and forestry. The leaf-eating beetle distribution among different areas of Azerbaijan is presented. In the Great Caucasus 263 species are noted, in the Small Caucasus 206, in Kura - Araks lowland 174, and in Lenkoran zone 262. The distribution of the leaf-eating beetles among different sites is also described and the results of zoogeographic analysis of the leaf-eating beetle fauna are presented as well. Eleven zoogeographic groups of the leaf-eating beetles were revealed in Azerbaijan, which are not very specific. The fauna consists mainly of the common species; the number of endemic species is small. Key Words: leaf-eating beetle, larva, pest, biotope, zoogeography. Hymenoptera Ichneumonidae of the Montecristo Island (Tuscan Archipelago), with Some New Records for the Italian Fauna

IV, XLIII (1), 2019, pp. 101-111 FILIPPO DI GIOVANNI & PIER LUIGI SCARAMOZZINO HYMENOPTERA ICHNEUMONIDAE OF THE MONTECRISTO ISLAND (TUSCAN ARCHIPELAGO), WITH SOME NEW RECORDS FOR THE ITALIAN FAUNA SUMMARY Data on the presence in the Island of Montecristo (Tuscan Archipelago, Italy) of 35 taxa of Ich- neumonidae (Hymenoptera Ichneumonoidea) are provided. The specimens were collected with a Malaise trap in 2011 and 2012. Seven of the identified species were already known for the Tuscan archipelago, four for the Island of Montecristo. The total number of Ichneumonidae in the Archipelago rises from 20 to 49 species, that of Montecristo from 5 to 36. Eleven species are new records for South Italy. Townostilpnus chagrinator Aubert, 1916, previously known only from Cor- sica and southern France, is new to Italy. Sette delle specie identi- ficate erano già conosciute dall’arcipelago toscano, quattro di queste per l’isola di Montecristo. The behaviour of seven insects was studied to determine their responses to low erucic acid rapeseed, represented by a typical and a Canola variety of each species. The Canola varieties have a lower gluco- sinolate concentration in the seed coat than typical varieties. The insects were chosen because they were oligophagous or polyphagous. The actions of adults of two species of moths, Mamestra configurata Walker and Plutella maculipennis (Curtis), were studied by using an olfactometer; four species of aphids, Myzus persicae Sulzer, Macrosiphum euphorbiae (Ashmead), Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus), and Acrythosiphon pisum (Harris), were studied when the adults were placed at the base of each type of plant. -
