Day will be free at leisure. Evening briefing will be given of Chardham Yatra. Dinner & Night halt at Dehradun. Day 02: Dehradun – Kharsali - Yamunotri Morning after breakfast proceed from Dehradun to Kharsali Helipad, from here 6 kms. Trekking for Yamunotri which will be covered by Pony or by Palki. After darshan come back to Kharsali. Night halt at Kharsali (Yamunotri). Day 03:- Yamunotri – Gangotri After Breakfast fly from Kharsali Helipad to Harsil Helipad. From Harsil we will proceed to Gangotri Temple. The distance is around 22 kms. We have taken care to arrange a VIP Darshan for our guests. Pandit is available for special Poojan.Harsil is beautiful valley of Dense Forest and green mountains. On the way there are many stunning spots where you can enjoy the beauty of Nature & click Photos to make your journey memorable. You will be blessed by the evening Aarti darshan at Gangotri. Overnight stay at Dharali / Harshil. Day 04:- Gangotri – Kedarnath After breakfast we drive to Harsil Helipad. On arrival we fly to Sersi Helipad than again fly to Kedarnath from same Helipad. Temple is approx 500 metres away from helipad and will take approx 15 mins to reach. The Pandit will accompany the group and lead to VIP darshan in Kedarnath temple. After darshan & Poojan guest will fly back to Sersi Helipad. Have lunch & passengers can visit ancient Triyuginarayan or Kalimath Mandir & Overnight stay at Guptakashi located at the banks of river Mandakini. Day 05:- Kedarnath - Badrinath After breakfast proceed to Sersi Helipad to proceed for Badrinath, On arrival check/in at hotel. After lunch proceed to Mana Village, last border of India with China for sightseeing. In evening Guest can attend Swarna aarti at Badrinath Temple & than have Dinner & Night stay at Badrinath. In Case Char Dhaam Yatra is delayed due to bad weather or any other unforeseen reasons, than the journey will be conducted next available date or the unutilized part of the journey will be refunded. In case of Reschedule the journey from customer’s side it will be considered as cancelled. In case the Govt Permissions are not availed & if the Helicopter doesn’t operates we will refund the full amount. All Temples in Chardham are located at High Altitude Areas. Pilgrims are advise to carry a Small oxygen bottle with them as a precaution. Fitness:- All Pilgrims Should be Physically Fit. It is better to do Some Jogging and other light excersise as prepare for this journey. In these locations the temperature will fall to 10 degrees or less at night therefore pilgrims are are advised to carry woolen clothes. Photography:- Still Cameras / Portable Videos Camera are not allowed in Himalayan ranges But not inside the temple Please do not attempt to take pictures inside the temples. Specifically, this research aims to assess the tourism potential of holy Hindu temple sites located along well-known pilgrimage routes. During our fieldwork, we visited several of the most significant Hindu temples in India. Framed by a critical ethnography lens, our study used unstructured interviews with local stakeholders, as well as observations and reflexive notes. The findings revealed that most of the temples have serious safety, hygiene, accessibility, and environmental issues. A lack of action could lead to serious consequences for locals and tourists. For example, important for tourism, warnings of pandemics have been sounded over the years, and disease pandemics originating in India may only be a matter of time. We propose some immediate solutions and areas for future research.

    UTTARAKHAND RELIGIOUS DESTINATIONS COME CLOSER UTTARAKHAND Himachal Pradesh Punjab UTTARAKHAND Haryana Uttar Pradesh The State of Uttarakhand, often called “Devbhoomi”, is a popular destination for religious and adventure tourism. A network of stronger, safer, all weather roads is being built, in the State over the past four years. Till 2014, the length of National Highways was 2,509 km. In 2018, NH length has reached 3,492 km. The completion of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and Delhi Saharanpur Highway will result in greater savings in time, cost and fuel for Uttarakhand bound vehicles. Over Rs. 5,000 Cr will be invested to build 983 km of new National Highways. Work is in progress on 66 projects worth Rs. 12,300 Cr, spanning a length of 800 km. Under Chardham programme, 37 projects of 633 km length, worth a total cost of Rs. 8,500 Cr have been sanctioned. Out of these 23 projects of 385 km length worth Rs. 4,100 Cr are ongoing and the remaining ones are at tender/award stage. A total of Rs. 30,000 Cr worth investments will be made towards road development in the State. “When a network of good roads is created, the economy of the country also picks up pace. Assemble at the State government helipad on Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun, the starting and concluding point of this yatra. The ground staff briefs you about the do’s and don’ts of the trip. As you arrive at the Kharsali helipad for Yamunotri, you are transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, You will get Palki and leave for VIP darshan at temple Yamunotri. The main attractions here are Goddess Yamuna and the thermal springs at JankiChatti. The actual Champasar glacier is at an altitude of 4421 mts above the seal level and is inaccessible. The temple, placed on the left bank of Yamuna River, was erected by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal. The idol of the Goddess here is in black marble. 03 Departure from Yamunotri helipad (07: 45 AM). Arrival at Harsil Helipad Harshil/ (08:30 AM). On day 2, Depart from Yamunotri helipad and arrive at Harsil Gangotri Helipad, lying amidst the beautiful lush Uttarakhand valleys. The day is scheduled for visiting the next Chardham destination of Uttarakhand- Gangotri. It is advisable that you visit the Gangotri temple, right from the helipad. The temple is located at a distance of 22 km from here which will be cover by cab. Arrive at the temple around 50 minutes later. After Darshan at Gangotri temple, get transferred to your hotel in the afternoon.
