Since 2000, these awards have honored individuals, community leaders, and corporations in Southern lndiana and Metro Louisville who are committed to making a better community and world for people with disabilities. March 7 ,2015, will mark the 15th annual lmagine Awards benefiting the Rauch Foundation. The lmagine Awards gala features a large silent auction, a live auction, a dynamic professional entertainer with a disability, and culminates with the presentation of the lmagine Awards. This yea/s entertainer is Michael Cleveland, the lnternational Bluegrass Music Association's 9-Time Fiddle performer of the Year. Michael, who was born blind, will be performing with his band Flamekeeper, the 4-Time lnternational Bluegrass Music Association lnstrumental Group of the Year. Over the years, support from area businesses like yours has been vital to this event's success. Last Year, the event's silent and live auctions alone raised over $16,000. Support to adults with disabilities through job training and competitive job placement; work opportunities provided in an integrated, sheltered, work environment; independent living supports; and educational and recreational day programs . Michael, who was born blind, is considered one of the premier bluegrass fiddlers of his generation. Mike picked up a fiddle at age four, and his talent was recognized early. In 1993, Mike made his Grand Ole Opry debut as a guest of Alison Krauss. His list of guest appearances over the years is a who's who of bluegrass legends including Bill Monroe, Jim and Jesse, Ralph Stanley, Mac Wiseman, Doc Watson, Larry Sparks, Doyle Lawson, and J.D. Crowe. At the 2001 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) awards, Mike took his first Fiddle Player of the Year award, and shared the title of Entertainer of the Year with Rhonda Vincent and the Rage. He has now been named the Fiddle Player of the Year 9 times. His 2002 album "Flame Keeper" was chosen the IBMA's Instrumental Album of the Year. In 2004, Mike shared the Instrumental Album of the Year award with Tom Adams for "Tom Adams and Michael Cleveland Live at the Ragged Edge," an album of fiddle and banjo duets. In 2006 Mike's second solo album on Rounder Records, "Let 'Er Go, Boys!," won Instrumental Album of the Year. Mike is a sought-after guest and has performed with Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, The Mark Newton Band, J.D. Crowe and the New South, Audie Blaylock and Redline, Melvin Goins and Windy Mountain and The Wildwood Valley Boys. He is also an active studio musician, and his credits include the 2005 GRAMMY-nominated "A Tribute to Jimmy Martin: The King of Bluegrass" and a 2003 GRAMMY winner, Jimmy Sturr's "Let's Polka 'Round." Mike lives in Charlestown, Indiana. .

Volunteers put this camp together, and we'll be relying on volunteers even more in the future. It's truly a labor of love. We view ourselves as a unique camp--our emphasis is on faculty's personal interaction with campers in and outside the classroom. You'll dine with faculty and find them available for advice throughout the weekend. Some faculty may even stay up late to jam with you. We've made some changes for the 2019 Camp: ● A new President/Camp Director: In 2017 then President Phil Zimmerman let the Board of Directors know he wanted to cut back on his duties. I offered my time and energy and the Board voted me in as President/Camp Director in May of 2018.
