358 (Syllabus)/ Date:-17.09.2018 BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION :ODISHA:CUTTACK NOTIFICATION VOCATIONAL EDUCATION No:-358 (syllabus)/ Date:-17.09.2018 In pursuance to letter No.1856/VE, dtd.13.08.2018 of Addl. State Project Director OMSM(RMSA) the Vocational Education course under RMSA at Secondary School Level in trades (1.Agriculture , 2. Apparels , Made ups & Home Furnishing, 3. Plumber , 4.Automotive, 5.Electronics & Hardware, 6. Tourism & Hospitality ) will be introduced for class-IX (Level-I) from the Academic Session – 2018-19 under Samagra Shiksha as compulsory subject in the following 95(ninety five)selected schools (Subject mention against each) . The above subjects shall be the alternative of the existing 3rd Language subjects. The Students may Opt. either one of the Third Language or Vocational Subject as per their choice. Under its Annual Action Plan 2019-20, all the districts of Odisha have been taken up for the survey. This Industrial Potentiality Survey Report of Nayagarh district covers various parameters like socio- economic indicators, present industrial structure of the district, and availability of industrial clusters, problems and prospects in the district for industrial development with special emphasis on scope for setting up of potential MSMEs. The report provides useful information and a detailed idea of the industrial potentialities of the district. I hope this Industrial Potentiality Survey Report would be an effective tool to the existing and prospective entrepreneurs, financial institutions and promotional agencies while planning for development of MSME sector in the district. BALASORE KHIRACHORA GOPINATH TEMPLE: Khirachora Gopinatha Temple is situated at Remuna. It is famous as Vaishnab shrine. Remuna is a Chunk of Brindaban in Orissa. It is a little town located 9 k.m east of Balasore. The name Remuna is resulting from the word Ramaniya which means very good looking. "Khirachora" in Odia means Stealer of Milk and Gopinatha means the Divine Consort of Gopis. The reference is to child Krishna's love for milk and milk products. (Khirachora Gopinath Temple) PANCHALINGESWAR TEMPLE: Panchalingeswar is located on a top of a hillock near the Nilagiri hill which is popular for its natural surroundings. The main attraction of this place is a temple having five lingas with a perennial stream, which is regularly washes the Shivalingas as it flows over them. So, to reach to the temple one has to lie flat on the rock parallel to the stream to touch and worship the lingas inside the water stream.
